Japan: The Cellier des Chartreux rewarded at the Sakura awards

Winemakers, sommeliers, importers, journalists... Almost 400 tasters had to distinguish nectars from all over the world. The highly demanding jury has only offer to 6% of the wines a
Double Médaille d’Or. Among them, Je résiste à tout sauf à la tentation 2016, our white Côtes-du-Rhône created by Sébastien Chabal. A light robe wine, with grapes from Roussanne, Viognier and Grenache Blanc, with apricot aromas, fresh fruit and acacia flowers.

An other cuvée, result of our collaboration with the former XV de France player, has pleased the japanese palates: Une petite cuvée au poil ! 2017, a rosé 100% Grenache with citrus notes and passion fruit, which has been honored with the Silver Medal.

Some silver again with the Chevalier d’Anthelme 2016, a red Côtes-du-Rhône marked with candied black fruits, cherry, licorice and spices notes. And to end this prizes list Ruban Rose 2016 has received the Gold Medal. A Côtes-du-Rhône rosé very elegant and from harvests night.
